Just a quick post to say thanks to jenr925 for wishing me a happy birthday! I had a great day, even though I was at work!

So I just thought I do a quick post to say 1) I am still alive, and 2) I hope everyone is having a great summer (can't believe its nearly over!)

So what have I been up to? Well working, as usual, due to sickness we are terribly short staffed, its a pain, but well I think we are all getting used to it! It doesn't help that it is still holiday time also!

My best friend got married last Monday! It was a beautiful ceremony, and they make a beautiful couple! I really wish them all the happiness in the world! I am so happy for her its unbelieveable!
The wedding was in Glasgow, which meant I had to go up the Friday before and stay the weekend, having a nice rest and a good time with her!  (And in an unrelated topic, I really can't believe that you have never been on a train before Kirstin! Seriously you need to get your butt over here and I will take you on lots and lots of them hehe!)
I was her Head bridesmaid/witness....so I had my own little bouquet of flowers and got to dress up to! Lol nothing to flouncy (cause well Mel is nice Lol).
We went to the cinema and pizza hut for her hen night (she is a bit like me and isn't really a fan of hen nights).  We went to see 'Coco before Chanel' it was a nice movie, but we couldn't get over the fact that someone had brought there 5 year old to see it!! How the child lasted as long as it did amazed me!
I went to try and see Orphan on the Sunday, but the queue was outside the cinema, so I gave up.
I did get an enormous amount of reading done, that has continued over the week.  Well its not really alot I suppose, but as I have been trying my hardest to get the Bourne book finished for the past month (seriously hard work, I am on second one of the 3...and well its the sort of book that need concentration so is only really getting read in my lunch hour!) reading 3 books in a week is pretty impressive to me Lol.

I have succumbed to the Twilight saga! I have read the first two and have just started the 3rd.  I'm enjoying them I have to admit.
I also read the 'Time Travelers Wife' OMG what an amazing book, so sad...especially at the end.  I now feel that I will be able to go see the movie with out regretting that I hadn't read the book.

So thats kind of my life in the past few weeks!

Hey everyone, yes I am alive Lol

I have been without my laptop for nearly 3 weeks, after I picked up a really nasty virus that made my life hell! Luckly my Uncle is the resident puter expert, and was able to fix everything. Unfortunately in the process he had to make my laptop the baby it once was, EVERYTHING has been reset to day 1! Thank god for the portable hard drive!

So I have sat here now trying to download all the programs I had, and remember bookmarked web pages etc etc.....very hard work!

I used to have an lj homepage that had an area for me to do a quick post, and had a list of what friends had said recently....but I can't remember the link to it, so if anyone can help me out! I really detest the normal lj homepage!!

In other news, I PASSED! Thank god! I graduated on the 13th of July with a 2:1.
The graduation ceremony was like the last (boring!) but nice to have all my family there and feel like I am dressed as a Harry Potter extra!

Last weekend I went to visit my best mate in Glasgow, its something I have been meaning to do for ages, but well I am a lazy arse! Anyway she is getting married in August, and I am Bridesmaid/Maid of Honour/Witness Lol. So I figured I should go see her before the big day! Had a great time, I love her to pieces! We went to she Harry Potter (very much a tradition!) and well it was.....it was a good movie, but well so cut compared to the book! If you look at it as a stand-alone movie, and kind of forget the book its great! But well if you compare to book, it was sadly lacking!
Also went to see Public Enemy's.......great movie, Johnny Depp looking mighty fine as usual!

Okay in other things while I remember, Rebecca I have just noticed (really should but the reminder date in my phone!) that you bday is coming up! I apologise cause I wont have time to send you a card! But I will txt...and I hope you have a great day!!

In other news, had the exam (haitus is over, kind of!) It was okay, I am terribly shitty at deciding how I feel about how an exam went.....so I can't really say more than it was okay.
Back to work (very hectic, someone at other shop covering holidays, one on and off sick (very scary when said sick person fainted at my feet on tues, especially as we had just been talking 2 seconds earlier) therefore not enough people to do all the jobs we have to get done, especially as there is a bank holiday coming up!)
Other than that my life is as usual dull!

Hey guys, I haven't been around alot for a while, so I apologise if I have missed something important (eg. a Birthday, or some very important Zach Quinto news (seeing the new Star Trek trailer on TV did make me squee!) or haven't commented on something!)  I do now apologise, and I also apologise in advance, as my absence will be continued for at least another week!

My exam (the one I need to pass or else!) is next Thursday! I have slowly been building up the revision, which will cumulate in next week being revision central!

This one guy went on to try to see how many Ferrero Rocher he could eat in a minute! The Guiness World Record is supposedly 7! ( I think I could eat more than that!) The guy has been practising for months, in the end he ate 4 in a minute!!

Hey everyone, hope you are all okay!

So I've just been to work the usual, this week.....really my life is dull!

The only excitement I have had is in the realisation that loads of bands I love a releasing new albums this year!
Placebo, No Doubt, Marilyn Manson, and Bat for Lashes (that comes out on the 6th of March, so I am going to get that and do a DVD ordering session at the same time :D)

Why do all bands decide that they will release albums in the same year! Talk about expense I don't need hehe.
Honestly its the reason I love NIN, cause I love getting their albums free online!!! :D

Found out my start date for my pre-reg (I asked my boss this afternoon while he was stood at the computer banging his foot against the filling cabinet in tune to whatever song was on radio one!  Honestly when he was singing 'High Voltage' by Electric Six loudly I had to cringe!)

I also got the date for my one and only, I better pass or god knows what will happen, exam.....7th of May (also the Dads birthday!) So keep your fingers and toes crossed!
Finished Uni for Easter......now starts the arduous task of non-stop revising!

God I am so cold sat here! I think I will leave now and go downstairs to make myself an Options Mint or Coconut hot chocolate *yummy*

So I am bored...its really nothing unusual!

My car had its MOT and service this week, seriously the only interesting thing that happened.  The garage had to keep it over night due to the heated rear screen being replaced, as normal when my car is taken away from me I get a kind of separation anxiety! Its weird Lol, though not as weird as my Dads manic stressing when it comes to his cars MOT (his stressing usually starts a whole month before!)

Facebook keeps crashing my firefox!  Very annoying, it doesn't like me scrolling down at all!

The shops are full of Easter eggs at the moment, and I have my eye on the Wispa one, with the 3 Wispa bars! I am so glad they  brought Wispas back! They are so yummy!

My final (and only exam) happens to be on my Dad's birthday, the 7th of May.  I'm stressed I suppose, but really trying not to think of it!  Booked Graduation (again) hopefully this year I will be going.  Just have to book the robe and I am done, but I have till the 8th of June.  Just wanted to book the seats, cause we want a box, to make life easier with the Mothership being wheelchair bound.  If we sat in the main stadium she would have to be by herself at the bottom, which is just unfair and probably slightly discriminatory!

Work is going well......we had a work/girls night out on Thursday.  It was good fun.  The woman who had my job previously was invited, and well it was humourous as she really obviously avoided one of my co-workers!  I already knew the woman from my old job (as she worked for the same company)....she was like 'Hi Michelle, how are you' right over my other co-workers head, it was rude and rather obvious.  My co-worker has already told me that she was awful too her when they worked together. For example she gave everyone her mobile no. when she was leaving apart from this one co-worker! Talk about bitchy!  (not sure if that all makes sense!)

I found condensation in my rear fog light today, so we took it off and ended up finding half a farm as well! Lol
My car was a farmers before it was mine (thankfully an arable farmer, so all sandy really dry mud, not cow/pig poop!)  everytime we take something off we end up finding half a tonne of mud behind it Lol  Its kind of amusing, if a tad dirty!  Honestly I should have taken pictures of under the seats when I first got it! It was so full of dry sandy mud is was amazing!  I suppose thats what I get for buying a Land Rover!

So anyway I hope everyone is okay.......I just had the urge to post cause I remembered that I had missed something amusing out of the earlier 'few days away' post!

My boss told me that I 'lead a very rock and roll lifestyle' after I told him what I had done on my week off! Cheeky bugger!  This is coming from the man who goes to the gym before coming to work and arrives as work in the most ridiculous shorts I have ever seen!!! And spends most of the day singing (rather badly) to songs on the radio and swearing randomly too!  Though he did tell me an amusing story about his pre-reg, a customer had come into the pharmacy he was in complaining that the suppositories he had been given were really uncomfotable and very painful, upon questioning it was found out that the customer was putting said suppositories up his bum with the plastic wrapper still on them! His backside was rather shredded! Ow and hehe Lol.


Anyway back to the main point (I think there is one!) when we were driving back after picking my car up we came to a stop sign and some clever soul had written underneath 'Hammertime'  Lol well I of course found this extremely funny (its making me giggle now thinking about it! I really think I need to get out more!).  

My parents were totally non-plussed about the whole humour related to the 'STOP, Hammertime' sign (seriously I was ashamed of their lack of knowledge about MC Hammer Lol).

Anyway I think I am getting hayfever! Blah, my nose is permanently runny (has been for ages!) and now my eyes are getting itchy and feeling strange! Just what I need! Ah well!

So as I said in my last post I was going away the end of last week to get my car rustproofed! Well it still smells of waxoyl! Lol 
Its getting quite amusing! After it was done (I ended up being away from my baby overnight, cause the guy that was waxoyling it had problems with one of the machines he uses!!!! Talk about stressful Lol) we would walk to the nearby restaurant (TGI Fridays, it wasn't bad but well very very very noisy!!!) and all you could smell was waxoyl from my car!

We were like 'Oh don't you just love the smell of waxoyl in the morning/afternoon/evening' Lol

Overall we had a good time, nice to get away from home and visit places we haven't been to in a while!

We went to Bourton-on-the-Water while we were there! There is a minature village there (its a miniature Bourton-on-the-Water, complete with its own miniature village Lol) Anyway we hadn't been there in ages (there is a picture of me when I was threeish stood in the minature village, but its nearly as tall as me Lol

Anyway we just stayed in a Premier Inn, but they are pretty nice (plus I get a huge room all to myself!)
Well I have my trusty Teddy Bear (he is called Cuddles and he has been with me since I was about 2!) Anyway he goes everywhere with me! He is a very well travelled teddy! He has been to Australia twice and on a Mediterranean cruise Lol
So when we left the hotel on the morning he would be left on top of the bed.  The first day I came back and though they had changed the bed sheets he was in the same place.  The next day I left him as usual, and when I came back.....well see for yourself! Lol






They tucked him up in bed all nice and comfy! Lol I just love it when I find little things like this! It makes me all squeey! Lol  What can I say I am easily pleased Lol

So I have just seen the new trailer for Terminator-Salvation! And OMG I am excited! Plus NIN music just meant it was made of more win!

So as most folks know I work in a Pharmacy...its a great job (and as I am training to be a Pharmacist I am glad I enjoy it), but it does have its scary moments!

So where I work we have to give out Methadone to Heroin addicts (every Pharmacy I have worked at has had addicts), some a supervised (where you have to watch them drink it! I always felt weird doing that especially when I was 18 and giving methadone to someone older than me!) and some not supervised where they get to take a few days or a weeks home with them.
Anyway 6pm tonight we were all leaving and I was near the front door waiting for the alarm to be put on and someone comes to the door and I am like sorry we are closed. The guy is like 'Oh no, but I had to go to the dentist' and again I apologise, and look toward the Pharmacist who nods his head in agreement that everything is switched off and we are closing. So the guy is stood on the other side of the door going 'But I was at the dentist' and I could tell he really wanted to be served.
So the Pharmacist came and said 'No sorry, we are closed' and he said the guys name and I realised he was one of the addicts (I haven't yet seen all the addicts we get cause of how our shop is set out, you don't often see the people in the main shop!).

So we all get out of the door and lock it, and start to put the shutter down and the addict is getting all pissy cause he wants his stuff, and it wasn't his fault he was late cause he was at the dentist! All this sort of stuff. He then says that the manager would have opened up and give him it. But the pharmacist says 'No' and says he is too late. (All addicts have to sign a contract that states they shouldn't come any later than 5.30pm....just to clarify).

Anyway we all start walking away to our cars and the addict is really pissed now and is shouting how our pharmacist is an 'Asshole' etc etc and then I see in my rear view mirror that he hits this passing car shouting abuse and such. Then he comes to my work colleagues car that is parked next to mine and starts to hit her windscreen with his phone shouting crap at her and that he is going to follow her home and all this sort of stuff.

Suffice to say I am sat in my car thinking 'OMG OMG OMG' it was very scary!
So my colleague rings me when I get home to make sure I am okay, cause she had seen the addict go off down the road (she isn't sure if he went after the pharmacist) and she said that she is still shaking and that she had dawdled getting home incase he was following her.
Now I am just worried about my car tomorrow, cause he saw which cars we got in, and then he randomly attacked a car that was passing! Plus I don't particularly want to see him tomorrow! My colleague said she was going to ring the boss, make sure the pharmacist was okay (I'm sure he was) and even considering the police, cause he threatened her!

Work is never usually this exciting or scary, I honestly thought he was going to try to open my car door or something! Hopefully he will get banned from the shop or something, cause there was just no need for it!

So yeah thats my excitement for this century! Hope everyone is okay

So I have got cold! Honestly I kind of wanted to get cold, because for ages I had an annoying runny nose....and it really got on my nerves that it didn't really come to anything.....until Monday that is Lol

So the cold arrived on Monday and I am already fed up with it! My throat hurts, my nose is sore! I feel achy and just overall nasty!

Why did I want cold? Bring back the annoying runny nose, all is forgiven!

On the plus points, no plans this weekend, so I think I will spend the whole time in PJ's watching DVDs and eating crisps Lol

Hehe I am such a big kid, but I am so excited! We have had snow!!! Its only a tiny bit so far...but well hopefully we will get more!

I know its a pain, and I know I should hate it cause of all the hassle it will cause getting to work tomorrow......but I can't!

There is this tiny logical part of my brain that says 'snow bad', then there is this HUGE little girl part of my brain that is jumping up and down going 'SNOW SNOW SNOW SNOW'!
Its totally uncontrollable!

Snow makes me so so happy!!!
